WOW, I just realized that it has been over a year since I posted anything to this blog...please let me start by apologizing.
Now, let me tell you of all the very cool places we have gone to sell my lotions, as most of you know I love to travel...I think it’s the Gypsy Feet I post so often on Face book.. lol
We started the year in May at the Yakima Farmers Market and then off to Packwood for a much needed break and fun filled weekend during the Memorial Day Celebrations.
next we visited Mabton and Toppenish for their community days and then it was off to Grand Coulee Dam to celebrate the 4th of July...on our way through Electric City we stumbled across the best little BBQ place named the Tropical Pig, if you ever get to Electric City you have to stop and say hello to Rick and taste his wonderful ribs...after I filled up on BBQ we headed north to Chewelah and Chautauqua days...it was 107 degrees every day and all my lotion melted!... lol.... we still had fun and lots of people bought my lotions. Thank you to everyone for all of your support during the heat wave...you are all so understanding...lol
then we headed home (after another stop at the Tropical Pig, by the way I called ahead and ordered my BBQ to go this time and Rick came in on his day off and cooked for us...did I tell you I LOVE THE TROPICAL PIG!!!)
after a few days at home to clean the cobwebs and visit the grand kids we headed out again, first up the mountain to the Nile Valley Days and then back out into the desert to the Tri-City's and Richland’s famous Art in the park...rather, we are one of the outlaw Summer Sidewalk Squatters across from Jackson's Sports Bar..lol It was hot there too but after 107 in Chewelah it was perfect!
we stayed at the Moon River RV and let me tell you it is the best RV place we have ever stayed at...they have little grassy yards for each RV and a really nice pool...we stayed two extra days and I worked on my tan...lol...probably going to regret that, I know...no need to tell me.
after a quick rest at Moon River we hit the road for home and the following weekend attended the Moxee Hop Festival, I made a special coconut oil lotion just for that event out of hops!! lol...I think I am ahead of my time however because I could not even give that stuff away...lol...
Well, that brings us up to the present...I am home trying to catch up on bill paying and lotion making while Ken is trying to clean the house and trailer so we can hit the road again tomorrow.....
We are headed out to Westport’s Art Festival in the morning...I really love that show, next year I think we will skip the Moxee Hop Festival and try the festival in Aberdeen Wa instead...keep a watch on my yearly calendar for updates ( I do try to keep that one current )
after Westport it back to Packwood for the Labor Day Celebration and then we will come home for two weeks...then it’s something completely new...we are off to RENO NV!!!!! more about that one later...keep an eye on my face book page as that is so much easier to update while we are on the road.
thanks for staying with me all these years, as you can see since we closed the shop we are even busier than before and besides they tore down the Track 29 and put up a parking lot....there's a song in there somewhere....lol... see you down the road..... Annette

Ok, so you heard that I had to close the shop...it’s true, the people who own the building lost it in bankruptcy and we (all of us renters) were forced to move or close...but...I am better than ever!!
Even though I hated to lose my shop, it was beautiful and everything I could ever want...I am something of a gypsy and am so excited to be free to roam the northwest again...(my secret - I am planning a cross country trip as well!)
So, I have updated my Calendar through September...the Christmas stuff will come later, and I will also be adding some new products soon so keep checking back for up and coming exciting new skin care products and candles and even soap!
Thank you again to all that have supported me in my endeavors...don't worry about us though, I love to travel and it will be fun to meet new people and learn some new things too....
Take care and don't forget to email me with your thoughts and requests....Annette

I have had so many people ask me if I would consider doing classes this year that I think I will go ahead and schedule some and see how it goes.
the first class will be on December 7th, it will cost 85.00, I will provide all the ingredients and even finger food and beverages, all you have to do is attend. This class will yield 10 to 12 4oz bottles of premium goats milk lotion, the class should take between 2 1/2 and 3 hours and will be held of course here in my shop at Track 29. I will take registrations for this class through December 3rd.
the second class is pretty much the same only it is for those of you who would like to end up with more lotion, the cost is 160.00 and you should leave with 20 to 24 4oz bottles of goats milk lotion. again I will provide you with everything you need including some good eats and drinks...
I will have other size bottles available if you would like to change up your bottles but the basic ounces of goats milk lotion will stay the same...im flexible
there will be lots of additives available for an additional cost such as emu oil, special essential oils and wonderful things like rose hip oil and calendula extract. please indicate on the form (yep, im gonna send you a form to register) if you are interested in an additive, its okay if you are not sure it just helps me to make sure I have enough. it will be a first come first serve kind of thing otherwise.
okay, so drop me a note via email 'email@example.com' or give me a call at 509-969-4836, I will get the afore mentioned registration form in the mail to you and please include your mailing address and a phone number in case of unforeseen things...snow storms...illness... anyway, Im really excited we are all going to get together, some of us again this year and hopefully some new attendees. I can only handle 8 or 9 people per class so don't wait, drop me a note to save your spot!
see you soon, Annette

Okay, the summer has arrived and the coconut oil is flowing!! Yep, we are off and running this year with all our fun fairs and festivals. Its gonna be another really hot summer season (both with the weather and great lotion deals) so I just wanted to remind everyone where I will be this year.
First I want to say how much we missed seeing all of our friends in Grand Coulee this year, it is the first time in six years that we could not make the festival there for the fourth of July but take hart (I know we are) we will be back for the big fourth of July festival in 2013!! Im so happy and hopeful.
Next, we are adding to our list of shows the 'Nile Valley Days' located off HWY 410 in Washington state...we have attended this show many times over the years but for the last several we have just gone for the fun...so, we decieded it was time to take the lotion with us and this year we are going to do just that. We look forward to seeing all of our mountain friends again. this one is the weekend of July 21st & 22nd.
The following weekend we will be at one of our favorite spots of the year, in Richland WA at the 'Summer Sidewalk Squatters' and Richlands Art in the Park festival...don't forget to look for me up in the parking lot on your way to the park...its always HOT but we love it (ken always brings his air conditioner to this show, cracks everyone up!) thats the weekend of July 27th & 28th. My sister and her son Jon will be visiting this weekend fron Florida, it will be a really nice weekend for me, stop by the booth and meet them.
Then...on the weekend of August 3, 4th and 5th we will be attending the 'Moxee Hop Festival' for the first time...yes I know this one is just down the street from where we live but for some reason we are always busy this weekend and have never made it...so...this year we have made it a priority to stay a little closer to home and the 'Moxee Hop Festival' made it on our list. Stop by and say hello. I have been told that it is a great time and a fun show...see you there!
Okay, so after we do three whorl wind shows in a row.(the shop should be open most of the time as well...i hope) we are packing up the grandkids and nephue's and headed out for a camping trip...we will take some much needed time off and I will be closing the shop while we are gone...we will only be gone a week but it will be nice to get away even if only for a short time and enjoy some family time... when we get back we are home for a few weeks and then its off to Packwood!!!!!
Okay folks, thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope I will get to see everyone at one of my shows...let me know if you have any wonderful ideas for new shows, fairs or festivals you think we should look in to as I am always looking for a new adventure. Take care and stay cool...Annette

I just wanted to add a quick note to explain why I am not at the shop as often as everyone would like. During the winter months (tax season) I work at both the shop and H&R Block, its just until April and you all have my word that I will still be available to answer questions and to whip up any special orders, I will just be doing it early in the morning and later in the evening. I have a little help at the shop, our hours of operation are still 9am until 6pm Tue - Fri and 10am - 4pm on Saturday. Just let my helpers know what you need and I will get right on it.
Take care everyone and let me know how I can help... Annette

Okay, so running a shop and doing shows has been, shall we say, challenging. I have however really had a great season. The farmers market ended at the end of October, I am always sad to see that end, its the most wonderful vibe there. I will miss all of my friends but it is always such a treat to go back in the spring and say hello again.
It is so hard to believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner and then of course Christmas, this year here on the Track 29 boardwalk we are all going to do it up right and decorate for Christmas in style. There will be lots of lights and trees, even (if I can convince a certain Santa) a Santa Clause for the kids to get there picture taken, I will have to let you know when that event will be as I still have to do some fast talking.
Another big day coming up for me is our 1st Anniversary... yep, we have been here at Track 29 for one year. It is so hard to believe we made it...yes it is by the skin of my teeth but we are still here thanks to all of you!
That leads me to the real reason I am updating my blog, THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HAS BELIEVED IN ME AND MY PRODUCTS, I promise to keep chugging along if you all will keep up the support. Iv got some fun ideas for 2012 and I promise to keep you informed as I go. Be sure to watch for emails about up coming events and my calender will keep you up to date on what shows you can find me in. I am looking forward to a few new ones next year so stay tuned.
Take care, Happy Holidays and Thank you all again... your friend, Annette
